Thermostat Replacement

Here is the new thermostat with rubber O-ring seal.

You will need a 10mm spanner to take out the three bolts and a pair of pliers to compress the clamp on the pipe. be sure to do this job when the engine is cool, or you will burn yourself ! This job shouldn't take more than 30mins.

Once you have the old unit out you will notice a bit of water loss, dont panic, this can just be refilled while the car is running and up to temperature.

Here the job is done, you might have to take the airbox off to get leverage on the left bolt, to tighten it.

Thanks to Pablo from the Opel Owners Club forum.
